Campus Firewatch is the leading, longest-running newsletter focusing on campus fire safety on our nation’s campuses. Since 2000, we have been covering the issues and providing invaluable information to our readers, not only through the newsletter but on our web page as well, including…
…and much more! Articles in past issues include…
(and this is only a few of the ones that have appeared in the past year!)
We are now working on producing a documentary called 9 Fires which will look at the impact that 9 campus-related fires have had at the beginning of the 2012 spring semester. You can see the trailer for this groundbreaking documentary. Campus Firewatch also organizes the annual Campus Fire Safety Capitol Hill Day which brings students, parents, fire safety advocates and others together in Washington each March to meet with Congress to discuss campus fire safety issues. Campus Firewatch is also the driving force behind National Campus Fire Safety Month, reaching out to governors each year, asking them to issue proclamations recognizing September as Campus Fire Safety Month. You can also tune into Campus Firewatch Radio on Firehouse.com Each quarterly issue comes with timely information, ideas and tips from other campuses. Interested? You can download a complimentary copy and, if you like what you see, subscribe online! I hope you will join with other fire safety professionals who receive this invaluable information each quarter. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn or feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Ed Comeau, Publisher |
